Adelaide architecture

An educational institution akin to a prison? What does that say? The design is all turned inwards. It says containment. There is no interaction with the street. You step inside the building from the street or the car park under the building and into an authoritarian model of vocational or trade education that is uneasy with critical thinking.

  1. We caught the lift up to the 7th floor and we slowly walked our way down to the ground floor. The temperature was cool because of the wind. This photo would have been taken near the top, as I wanted to avoid the street tree in the foreground.
