Agtet: in memoriam

Agtet had pretty much recovered from the surgery, but the main problem was that the neurological damage is so great from his cardiac arrest that his bodily functionality and awareness will be seriously impaired; ie., he remains semi-comatose.

This is the last picture taken of Agtet in full health. It was at Ross in Tasmania, just before we left the island for Melbourne:

We have accepted that we have lost him. His neurological functionality has not improved since last Friday. We decided to have him put down today on the always very advice from the excellent vets at the hospital.

Agtet will be deeply missed, as he was such a fun loving and happy dog. He was full of life and loved being in the world.
