Community gardens are a lovely idea. It is a green space cultivated on common land by a group of people and they come in all shapes and sizes. They can grow flowers, veggies, fruits or trees. They can be used as sustainable food resources, or just to look pretty. They can be on any kind of land in any city and are designed to foster a sense of community and connection to the environment.

There is no security for the Walyo-Yerta-Community-Garden in the parklands and it has not been vandalised. I find that rather amazing.
