The day before I photographed the boardwalk scene with the Linhof 5×4. It’s always tricky using a large format along the southern coast because the southerly wind from the sea from both the east and the west–is generally too strong. So the days with little wind are very precious.
This was one of those early evenings. It was before the rains came.
