Mad March in Adelaide

To walk the city looking for shadows. The urban atmosphere is now one of party time and hanging out with friends in cafes, bars and pubs.

Looking for shadows also means noticing the urban light in the late afternoon and the way that it highlights architectural features:

This lovely building stands empty and it has been like this for as long as I remember. It is the same for a large number of 19th century buildings in the CBD. It’s a shame.
