picking up the pieces

It is a sense of location and place on the edge of the urban and the wild ocean in the form of a film still from a low budget Australian film from the 1970s. A landscape without qualities as it were; one implies a certain attitude towards the world which is immediately around us and we are immersed within. That particular attitude and involvement is marked out by the rubbish on the side of the road, the cleared field and the stobie pole for the electricity that helps to drive the technology.
