The reason was that I had stumbled on some sandstone cliffs after the Fluted Cape walk in Adventure Bay and wanted to explore them with the Linhof 5×4. So we drove out to have a look at the circuit around the peninsula then raced back to the sandstone cliffs before it became too dark to photograph.
We only just managed it. There was no time the next morning as we had to fly out from Hobart.
