winter

The local landscape has changed. There used to be no one around apart from the odd fisherman. After the walking trail had been built there are people all the time–walking, running, biking. I haven’t really adjusted to this winter tourism. I just returned my back on the people and concentrated on the movement of the sea in and around the rocks.

This was not large format territory–I had been thinking of using the 8×10 Cambo to do some black and white. The tide was high, the waves were crashing over the rocks, and there was flowing water everywhere. So I started making some studies that built on what I’d done before with the digital point and shoot.
