Brunswick St, Melbourne

Yet so much was the same, such as the familiar buildings like the Napier Hotel and the Fitzroy Town Hall in Napier Street:

Suzanne, Fitzroy Town Hall

Surprisingly, after several hours exploring Brunswick Street neither Suzanne nor myself wanted to return to live in Fitzroy. We felt that it was a great place when we were students, but that we’d moved on. If we did return to Melbourne from Adelaide to live then it would be to in South Melbourne. But we couldn’t really afford to do so.

At the moment I’m happy returning to Melbourne for several days every couple of months for phototrips–ie., to wander the streets taking photos and to do large format photography from car park rooftops.
