Flux marks the fundamental condition of existence: everything is centered around change and mono no aware seeks to turn our awareness to the impermanence of everything around us. Everything existing in the here and now passes.
Mono no aware suggests a positive relation with the world, based on the acute awareness of mujō – passing, impermanence, departing, or mutability of things — with its simultaneous existence of the opposition of it is and it is not.
