making the shift to digital

I will revisit Rundle Mall late this afternoon and re shoot the best of the shopfront/fashion images with the Leica. That is after I have looked at what I’d taken this morning with the Sony on the computer screen, and I have figured out which images work as a photograph.I’m after a flat multilayered look.

Even this more considered approach to the cost of film still leaves me with the scanning problem re the 35mm format that I’d raised in the earlier post. So I will take the old RolleiflexF TLR to cover all bases.

I suspect that this kind of photography will eventually evolve into a workflow where the Leica M4-P film camera becomes a backup camera to a yet to be purchased digital Leica rangefinder. The Leica lenses that I currently have are interchangeable. However, I will wait a couple of years for an M10 rangefinder to come out.
