Unfortunately the drizzle started to settle in and there was little hope of using the large format. So we completed our poodlewalk, drove around a bit more checking out future possibilities, then, as darkness fell, drove home to the CBD.
I find Port Adelaide a sad place. Its derelict. The promised housing redevelopment has stalled and faded and there are few people on the streets. Most of the large heritage woolstores building lie empty and there is not attempt to turn them into apartments, which is what would have happened in Melbourne.
Maybe Port Adelaide should be shot in black and white, not colour?
