The black and white project came about because the Rolleiflex SL66 I was using for the Fleurieuscapes project enabled me to switch film backs with ease. So after I’d made the colour image I experimented by making a black and white one to see what it looked like. I was relearning to see in terms of black and white.
Sometimes the black and white image looked better than the colour ones. Exploring the world of black and white became a normal, but minor, part of my photography on poodle walks.
