The Littoral Zone became a low-key project emerging from the poodlewalks after we moved to live at Encounter Bay in 2015. I habitually walked the coast from Rosetta Head to Kings Head daily, and I started to photograph the humble, transitory objects that I saw between the edge of the sea and the sand dunes or cliffs .
These objects are transitory, of the moment, and ephemeral. They are what the day tourists would pass by or not see.
