rising sea levels

I appreciate that you cannot really attribute specific weather events or a rising tide to climate change. But I have been quietly photographing the sand dunes being washed away on this beach. The changes are subtle: a bit washed away, a bit more there; more rocks exposed; less sand dunes; the sand on the beach disappearing; and the beach becoming ever more rocky.

But this change was so dramatic that I thought I was in the wrong place. I wasn’t, half a metre of sand had gone.
