the little things

I guess that if I don’t like the sea, rocks and sky than I have to screw off, since this is reality of contemporary life in Victor Harbor. It is about human beings living in a nature that is ever present. It is where civlization meets wilderness.Or embraced by nature.

The realism here is not simply the attempt to perfectly capture the world as it is. It is the effort to mobilize the true power of the photographic apparatus to reveal the reality that digital, like film, itself is an artifice. Photographic realism is necessarily a fake. It is a controlled atmosphere of light in which images are projected on a flat screen for passive spectators to create the illusion of a three- dimensional reality.
