a new digital camera: Sony NEX-7

It was me rather than the camera, and I realized that its going to take some work on my part to set the camera up and to practice focusing. It looks to be an acquired skill, especially in low light.

I did notice in post processing that noise is more apparent particularly in the shadows. However, where the camera did work well was in low light situations.

It was much better than a Leica film camera in low light situations as it can produce decent pictures of still subjects or objects up to ISO 1600.
