I’ve just ordered heaps of medium format and sheet film from B+H–hopefully a year’s supply.It arrived today.It is much cheaper buying from the US than in Australia–its a third of the price for medium format film; half price for sheet film. The internet allows us to avoid the Australian wholesalers and retailers who are price gouging.
I’ll drive down to Victor Harbor tomorrow morning, load up around 12 5×4 double darkslides tomorrow night, then return to Adelaide the following afternoon to catch the bus. This is an attempt to see if it is fairly easy to do large format urban photography in another city.
I’ll be lugging a Lowepro Pro Trekker 400 AW backpack and Gitzo tripod around the Crown Casino area of SouthBank on Friday after I arrive. I’ll join Suzanne in the afternoon when she gets in by plane.
