modern urban grunge

I took some scoping pictures around the Altitude apartment complex and smaller apartment building known as Gallery for a future shoot. Dunno what happened to The Loft, another complex. Its site was full of rubbish.

What had been marketed as offering a much needed modernness, quality design and architectural daringness looks quite drab and tacky high rise in a run down area. There was no one walking around these buildings. Instead of it having a cosmopolitan feel it was dead. Four more similar towers were planned–I doubt that they will be built in the near future since The Altitude is reduced to being mostly serviced apartments.

We moved on from the modern urban grunge.
